Friendships & Dating

How do you tell a friend you are interested in you want to be more than friends? I have thought about this for weeks now, and I can not seem to come up with an answer that does not make me look like a teenager or just a complete idiot! HELP!

Depends on whether or not you want to ruin the friendship. Taking it to the next level always screws things up "as just friends". I would say something like this. "You know we've been great friends for a long time now and I'm starting to have feelings for you that are more than a friend." If you are brave enough you could add the additional, "I was wondering if this feeling is mutual". Be ready for the, "No, I just like having someone to go to movies with." though!!!!

I am so outspoken in so many aspects of my life, but at times when it comes to Men I totally freeze up!
I do not want to ruin any friendships, but I would like to see where one goes.....if the feelings are mutual! aaarrrgghhh!

Take a leap of faith. The worse he could say is,"I just want to be friends." Come on, live a little.
