Monday Blahs.

Today is a typical Monday. I definitely do not want to be at work today! I am so exhausted my head keeps bobbing as if to say "The RED HEAD IS SLEEPING". I am waiting for the "Sleeping Alarm" to go off any minute now.
Last week, I had something planned EVERYNIGHT (very frustrating). The only event I have planned this week is my Beth Moore Bible Study. HipHipHooray! I am going to take time out for myself this week. I foresee lots of bubble baths headed my way.

What do you do when you have time to yourself?

I LOVE reading your posts! You seem very funny! Great, I just read your post back to me (I was waiting for you to post on my blog comments, I didn't think to look back at the one I had originally commented on) and cringed, because you said exactly what I need to do to lose weight. Eat less sugar. Yuck. I love sugar and flour and pasta and rice and......yada, yada, yada. I am beginning my 8th week of exercise today. My shape has changed, but no weight loss because I am still not eating right. Did the weight drop quickly for you once you stopped eating all the carb stuff????

I sleep when I have time to myself or Ebay or read my books.

Panda-Mom: I lost 18lbs the very first month without eating any type of flour product. Yep, I went 30 days without eating any flour.....but on the 31st day I had a slice of pizza at Napoli's in Plano (YUM). If I am "strict" on myself, then the weight comes off pretty quickly. If I allow myself more than a couple "free" days each week, the weight slowly crawls off of me. For example, last night I cooked chicken parmesan (baked chicken breast with spaghetti sauce with veggies in the sauce and a little cheese on top), I was dying for spaghetti and garlic bread last night, but I decided to eat broccoli and cauliflower instead. I was really surprised when the veggies actually hit the stop. It's the little changes in my diet that made a huge difference. If you like I can share some recipes with you.....any meal you cook at home can always be turned into a no flour or sugar one.
