Neighbors?

Since I officially became an adult--meaning moving out of my Parents House & paying ALL my bills--I have lived in apartment communities. My homes have been really great, and a little scary to say the least. After 11 years of living in Dallas, the apartment I am in now is my favorite so far. The other apartments I have lived in never really felt "like home". My apartment now is the only home my dogs have known. I have "raised" them here. Life in Apartment with dogs can be challenging. My only wish for this apartment is that it came with a doggie door & a fenced in back yard (OH and more closet space!). Before I adopted my dogs, I never really knew my neighbors. Neighbors were always just someone you said hello too when I was running to & from my car. Since I take my dogs on walks, I have met a several neighbors....I have learned two things....People are either Friendly or Anti-Social. I have met some really nice people who are friends now. It's amazing the friendships I have found living in my neighborhood.

Do you know your neighbors? If so, are you friends with them?
Do you have any "Scary, Creepy, Neighbors you warn others about?

We have BOTH creepy and nice. My next door neighbor Jenny is a sweetie. We set her up with the neighbor across the street, Scott. They're a hot item and an inevitable engagement is pending by yearend. Then there's Joe who looks like Gary Busey with chiclet teeth. He's a single guy who signed on his house the same day we did almost 2 yrs. ago and he's NEVER moved in yet. So, when he's here watering or mow him. He does creep me out though. I keep checking the sex offender list but those kind of things don't ever show up unless they ACTUALLY live in their house. Why would you want to pay mortgage for a house you never live in? Oh and he's made ton's of upgrades too. It's just a very wierd situation. He gives me the heebie geebies nonetheless.

We have some neighbors that are just plain odd! I have stopped trying to figure them out. One day Noah was riding his bike without training wheels and the man came out and stood next to his car (I guess to make sure Noah wouldn't hit it). Every time Noah would ride by it I would loudly say "Make sure you don't hit that car". Then we have so "odd" neighbors the other direction (no, not the Jordan's, Just kidding) who the very first time I went to check the mail when we moved in they saw me and ran inside!!!
I just love our neighbor "Pete" behind us. He is great!!!
